Η ανταποκρίτρια μας στην Φλόριντα, Ιωάννα Λαζάρου, ιδιοκτήτρια της εταιρίας Businessrise Inc, μας ενημερώνει από την ηλιόλουστη Φλόριδα για την αξιέπαινη πράξη των ομογενών μας, Άννας και Λάζαρος Χασομέρη, ιδιοκτήτες του Mana Greek Bistro.
Eν μέσω της πανδημίας του Covid -19, που πλήττει σοβαρά τις ΗΠΑ, δύο Έλληνες, ο Λάζαρος και η Άννα Χασομέρη, ιδιοκτήτες του Mana Greek Bistro, ενός ελληνικού εστιατορίου στο 1880 N Congress Ave, Boynton Beach, FL, με το Eλληνικό φιλότιμο που τους διακρίνει, συνεργάστηκαν με την Arete Incident Response προκειμένου να παρέχουν 10.000 γεύματα σε άτομα που έχουν ανάγκη, λόγω του Covid-19.
Τα γεύματα θα διανεμηθούν στο Palm Beach της Νότιας Φλόριντα.
Είναι ίσως από τα ελάχιστα παραδείγματα ανθρωπιστικής πράξης σε τέτοια τεράστια έκταση, σε εθνικό επίπεδο.
Η πρόθεση του Λάζαρου και της Άννας είναι να συνεχίσουν να προσφέρουν βοήθεια σε άτομα που έχουν ανάγκη όσο υπάρχει η κρίση προσφέροντας φαγητό σε όσους περισσότερους ανθρώπους μπορούν και αντέχουν οικονομικά.
Είναι ένα λαμπρό παράδειγμα αλληλεγγύης και ανθρωπισμού, δύο αρχές που χρειαζόμαστε περισσότερο από ποτέ σήμερα.

Our correspondent in Florida, Ioanna Lazarou, owner of Businessrise Inc., reports that Amid the Covid -19 pandemic, which severely affects the United States, two Greeks, Lazaros and Anna Chasomeri, owners of Mana Greek Bistro, a Greek restaurant in 1880 N Congress Ave, Boynton Beach, FL, having the Greek “filotimo” , partnered with the the Arete Incident Response to provide 10,000 meals to people in need, due to covid-19.
Meals will be distributed at Palm Beach in South Florida.
It is perhaps the only example of a humanitarian act on such a large scale, nationally.
The intention of Lazaros and Anna is to continue to offer help to people in need as long as there is a crisis by offering food to as many people as they can afford. It is a shining example of solidarity and humanitarianism, two principles we need more than ever today.
