President Donald Trump has fired Christopher Krebs, the director of the federal agency that backed the credibility of the 2020 election and dismissed the president’s allegations of voter fraud. Christopher Krebs had called the election “the most secure in American history.”
President Trump, in a tweet today (Tuesday, November 17), fired Christopher Krebs, who served as director of cybersecurity and home security at the Department of Homeland Security (Cisa)… At president’s tweet we reads:
“The recent statement by Chris Krebs on the security of the 2020 Election was highly inaccurate, in that there were massive improprieties and fraud – including dead people voting, Poll Watchers not allowed into polling locations, “glitches” in the voting machines which changed…”
“…votes from Trump to Biden, late voting, and many more. Therefore, effective immediately, Chris Krebs has been terminated as Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.”

Krebs’s boss Chad F. Wolf, the acting secretary of homeland security, on Election Day, had praised Mr. Krebs’s work. Mr. Krebs responded to his termination, he tweeted from his personal account saying:

The announcement for Christopher Kreb’s “termination” came via Twitter, the same way President fired his defense secretary last week and has dismissed other officials throughout his presidency.
